Postcards from the other side
I was clearing my studio, as we were preparing for lockdown and a probable move to France. Over the years pieces of paper, film rolls, postcards had accumulated on and under my desk, I wanted to collect them in some form, so as not to loose the memories attached.
The idea evolved as I was making these collages that they would be postcards to loved ones, known and unknown, across the great divide of the covid crisis.
